The exhibition “The Sky in your Eyes,” curated by Flaviana Lasan, presents four artists: Dri Sant’ana, Glicéria Tupinambá, Tiago Gualberto, and Shima. They have different worldviews and individualities that transcribe a counter-hegemony, which form a sky for our eyes and invite us to search for constellations. The group of stars forms differently depending on who sees them. A constellation, as culture, belongs to the people. Facing each one of us there is a sky, and we may observe in our own way, according to our experiences and needs. This whole is not only human. The sky is present all the time, it’s about the act of observing and absorbing. Even if ignored, it was and will always be there... or here.
